How to add custom aspect data to Provision Map

How to add custom aspect data from SIMS

If you school’s Provision Map account is linked with SIMS, you can pull through aspects directly from SIMS into Provision Map. To do this, you must set up the aspects under the Xporter and EduKey categories. Click on the link below to access a guide that explains how to do this.

How to add custom aspect data from another MIS

If your school’s Provision Map account is linked to a different MIS, you can still transfer aspects across! To do this, send us an Excel spreadsheet list of pupils that contains the following columns:

  1. UPN
  2. First Name
  3. Surname
  4. Your aspect name. Multiple aspects can be imported simultaneously by creating a new column for each aspect.

Once the aspect data has been added to Provision Map, you can set them up as pupil fields, learning plan fields or start grades for your provisions.
