If your school has ordered them, you can use our EduKey One Time Pass Cards to enable two step authentication for your Provision Map account.
The OTP cards were designed with security in mind, providing your Provision Map account with an extra layer of protection against unauthorised access, phishing scams and viruses. Once enabled, logging into your Provision Map account will also require you to enter a code from the OTP card before you can access your school’s data. This additional login requirement reduces the risk of unauthorised access using your account credentials because the user will also need physical access to the OTP card in order to successfully log in.
To assign an OTP card to your Provision Map account, log in as normal and navigate to the Account Settings page (Cog icon in the top right hand corner).
Next, scroll down to the Security section and select OTP Card from the Dual authentication drop down menu.
You will be asked to enter your card’s serial number. This number can be found on the back of your OTP card.
Click Confirm once you have entered the serial number. Your OTP card will now be successfully linked with your Provision Map account.
The next time you attempt to log into Provision Map, you will be asked to enter a code generated via your OTP card.
Press the button labelled on your OTP card. The required code will appear above the button on the front of the card.
Enter the code into the Code field and click Submit. You will now be able to access your Provision Map account.
